(San Jose, IL) — Illinois farmers are preparing for fall harvest. The Managing Director for the Illinois Corn Growers Association, Jim Tarmann, says this year’s crop should be good, despite missing yield forecasts. Farming officials say the weather could still be a factor affecting the harvest. Tarmann says a major concern would be the possibilities of large storms.
