The Festival of Trees is making a large donation to City of Vandalia’s Fireworks at Summerfest.
City Administrator LaTisha Paslay says that Festival of Trees had a very strong fundraising year. And, they were able to make an $8,000 donation to the Fireworks Display that will be part of the City of Vandalia’s Summerfest. Committee member Haley Tompkins was on hand to receive the check. Paslay mentioned that the fireworks display is booked for Saturday, July 6th at Vandalia Lake.
