Governor Bruce Rauner took time during his address at the Fayette County Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday evening in Vandalia to take aim at his political opponent, House Speaker Michael Madigan. Governor Rauner says Madigan has done a lot of damage to the state, and he’s working to get him out as Speaker.
Rauner says they are taking aim at picking up 9 seats in the Illinois House in the November election, to unseat Madigan as Speaker. Rauner will also face a major re-election challenge. And, he talks about his potential November opponent coming up tomorrow during NewsCenter.
